Kirby Hurlbut

Kirby Hurlbut, with 26 years of experience in behavioral health and juvenile justice focusing on compliance and program quality control, serves as the Associate Director of Standards and Compliance at CBI. He is an active member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). In his role, Kirby assists the Chief Compliance Officer by addressing privacy concerns and ensuring HIPAA compliance, oversees a compliance team, ensures adherence to state licensing and national accreditation standards, monitors privacy and reports breaches, conducts health and safety audits at licensed facilities, and facilitates health and safety meetings and initiatives.

Kirby, a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Psychology, specializes in compliance, leadership, licensing and regulation, auditing, communication, and problem-solving.
