Lisa Barras, LPC, LISAC

Lisa Barras is a Clinical Training Specialist at CBI, where she delivers comprehensive, medically integrated behavioral health training encompassing prevention, education, and treatment services in Arizona. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC), she has dedicated her career to assisting individuals in managing distress and trauma symptoms. Initially focusing on impulse control issues like eating disorders and substance use disorders, Lisa recognized a common thread of traumatic experiences underlying these symptoms, leading her to concentrate on aiding individuals in overcoming distressing experiences. With a trauma-informed approach, she helps clients understand their histories and how these experiences can impact various aspects of their lives.

Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in forensic psychology from Argosy University of Phoenix.
